# Yes indeed. All politicians are lying, self-serving scum.
The act of voting, is, in essence, a sham; merely a means of changing the colour of tie that the leader wears.

But it's all we've got.

# I gave my standard rant when GB mentioned about why we were in Afghanstan
which is along the lines of...

Once Afghanistan is secured it gives US/Nato a pincer movement on Iran. a reason WILL be found to attack and invade Iran - it will very likely be nuclear weapons, which they WILL find this time.

Once Iran is conquered (and Pakistan is put in its place), this gives US/Nato a clear run from Kuwait and Iraq right through to China and India - which both just happen to be the world's next industrial superpowers.

Oil pipeline anyone?

This all might take 20+ years, but it is what is happening.

# You only have to watch the movie
"W" www.imdb.com/title/tt1175491/ for some interesting (and well known ) insight into how long the US has been aware of it's failing domestic oil production ( now down to less than 7% of it's peak ) and so how the republicans and Bush senior realised that they would end up relying on people they considered enemies of democracy to understand the reasoning for the conflict in the middle east and the fact that the plan is far from over, certainly ingoing despite there now being a Democrat in power.
Iran has always been the target with Iraq just seen as a necessary gateway.

# this
and on the Daily Mail:

Cameron definately came about better in HD, he looked younger and like his airbrushed pictures!!

I am worried people are being suckered in by the Lib Dems, they are Socialists in Liberal clothing, their policies won't work and they want to take us into the Euro and ever greater union (even Brown doesn't want that).

A vote for Nick is a vote for the destruction of this country.
