# And the way the plot just didn't seem to flow
Like it was oddly edited or something. I dunno. Maybe we're just spoiled by the memories of the TV series and its superior cast.

# Two fucking heads
How hard can it be to give one of the characters two fucking heads?

# Zaphod didn't have two heads in the film?
I've obviously blocked it from my memory more successfully than I'd thought!

# I quite liked the way they did it (head under his head)
but not the way that it was an unfinished storyline - took his head away in exchange for getting the gun, then forgot to go back and get the head - sequel that never happened

# this is one of the main things I hated about the film
well, that and marvins voice and pretty much everything else

# I watched it, and there were a couple of giggles
But it very much felt that the film wasn't for me. Felt like a film for families that hadn't read the book. Too much goof and love story, not enough surrealism and logical reverse-engineering.

Also Marvin looked like an Apple iMarvin, which didn't sit with my mental image of a clanking mess of arduino boards and servos.

Oh well, got to move on.
