# I don't know how to work it :(
It's too complicated.
(, Tue 13 Nov 2012, 17:24, archived)
# haha, it works.
polished turd just ignore2.0'd me after last night's hilarity. Half last night's threads just vanished for me.

*waves at polished turd*

# So now I have to log out to see all of /board, because polished turd had a sense of humour failure.
Great work, b3ta. *slow handclap*

(, Tue 13 Nov 2012, 18:35, archived)
# But hey, at least ignore2.0 means that I am unable to continue my horrible bullying of the poor chap.
Rather than, for example, bringing the fact that he ignored me to my attention. Imagine if that had happened, I probably wouldn't shut up about it.
(, Tue 13 Nov 2012, 18:38, archived)
# been there, done that
got the genital warts.

And it wasn't a sense of humour failure, you irritate me greatly and consistently.

And now, back on ignore 2.0 you go

# Could someone else ask him and report back to me please, he's ignore2.0'd me again.
(, Tue 13 Nov 2012, 18:49, archived)
# ... and unignored again.
Bit indecisive, this polished turd fella.
(, Tue 13 Nov 2012, 20:14, archived)
# ... and ignored again!
Bless his little cotton socks, I wonder how long it'll take him to see this post? I'd guess under 5 minutes.
(, Tue 13 Nov 2012, 20:27, archived)
# There is a serious point here, though, and it's nothing to do with the people involved (sorry polished turd):
ignore2.0 has not prevented or stopped a silly little slagging match on b3ta - it has aggravated it. If half of last night's threads hadn't vanished earlier on, I wouldn't even have known that he put me on ignore, and I wouldn't have raised the subject again.
(, Tue 13 Nov 2012, 20:31, archived)
# from your profile:
"would have posted ten times as many messages on /board, if i had not thought carefully about what i was about to post"

So... a bit slow, then.
(, Tue 13 Nov 2012, 19:11, archived)
# not slow, no. Last night i was
horribly sober.

That's not an excuse, or an apology, just how it is.

# re: your board sig - "... scotland is shit, give it up."
Presumably that is a reference to me, since I'm from Scotland (and the "give it up" bit looks like a clear reference to my board sig).

So... I suggested - half-jokingly - that there was a nasty undercurrent of bigotry in one of your posts. And here you are, directing a half-witted insult at an entire country in retaliation. Top work there.

# I saw that little actor at a party one time.
True fax. At Marvin Davis' house in Denver. Gerald Ford was still alive and at the same place. When this little actor saw Gerald Ford he ran to him and Ford picked him up as if he were a child. The actor totally played up the I'm-the-adorable-little-boy-in-Ford's-arms bit even though he was a full grown man. Ford, as you know was president briefly following Nixon's resignation. He pardoned him thus ending his own career. I noticed he was the friendliest person there. Always jumping up and dashing around getting coffee for other people at his table. It was odd.
