My dad was in that filmHe was one of the parachutists who were actual army paras employed as extras. He says he ate Richard Attenborough's packed lunch one day not realising until afterwards that it was posher than everyone else's. I've obviously been cut from the same lame anecdote cloth since I sat my arse down where Harry Secombe was supposed to sit for a filmed segment in our school for songs of praise.
