It's always been like that I thought
View old just means 'show me the most recent archive page'.

Everything goes into the archive page as soon as it's posted and a new archive page is created when the limit is reached.

The main 'board' page is just a floating page that picks up the first N (15) posts and therefore often overlaps with the archive pages.

I guess it all depends on how you count the posts, from the first one or from the most recent.

no idea of time scale really though. 2 months maybe
