last time it happened, i tried to close them all one by one
this time I just task-managered the one IE process, which killed them all. And every other window I had open.

you have to kill the source window

even with 1.5 gig of ram and a 1900mhz cpu it maxes resources in about 10 seconds, so you can't get anywhere
