it's an artform, reducing movies - scanlines are always a good spacesaver, because you keep the visual size but lose roughly 30-50% of the detail... the eye fills it in though.

check the meerkats in my profile for an example... I nicked the idea off munkt0n and it's come in handy!

I used to use that effect many moons ago to save size when I was coding on the Amiga demo scene, looks fine at full screen if you move back from the monitor a bit!

Just need to try and find that rich vein of hummous that you guys have in spades now!
