question: what would be the easiest way to get from leicester to stansted? train to london then, erm, horse and cart to stansted? i am from the north remember, the south is strange and scary to me.

is north of london, so any train you catch may possible go past stansted or at least may offer a connection someplace else

there is a direct train link from leicester to stansted...it goes through melton mowbray, oakham, ummm somewhere after that,stamford i think and takes you straight to stansted airport
