It's like Charlies Angels but with blood. Although i think i am alone in that thought.

# charlies angels, the new films, are terrible
but i like tarantino,

will i like it?
(, Sat 11 Oct 2003, 1:48, archived)
# it's ok. I thought it was style over content
Tarantino's like a film student gone crazy with the cool style's like a uncool kid in Prada, but it's ok. Violent but 'hahah oh, funny violence!' and all that. Watchable. Critics loved it.
(, Sat 11 Oct 2003, 1:50, archived)
# Yes yes
But is it actually any good?

And is it in 2 parts?
(, Sat 11 Oct 2003, 1:49, archived)
# it is in 2 parts, yes.
You can probably imagine the second part though. At a guess I would say there's going to be a bit of stylish fighting in it.
Mind you, I hated Battle Royale too, and most people loved it. I thought it was more style over content. I might not be the person to ask :0)

# Battle Royale.
Meh.
(, Sat 11 Oct 2003, 2:03, archived)

# that
is wha i thought from the trailers.

is it really an "instant top 10 greatest film" as mr woss claims?
(, Sat 11 Oct 2003, 1:51, archived)
# probably. Tarantino directed it.
That's a qualification for the top 10 I think.
edit - it was only after watching the admittedly nicely done title sequence I realised how much i didn't like Tarantino. Forgot that when I said I'd go! It's ok though. It's worth seeing.
