...please don't post bitmaps on the board.

Why? I hear you ask... because

1) they are not web friendly, so not everyone will be able to see them.

2) They are an uncompressed file format which makes them huge and a pain in the arse for dial-up users.

This pic is over 600k, but a similarly sized jpg with compression would onlt be 30 or so K and look almost identical.

Always check your file size before posting - anything over 200k should be posted as a link, not as an embedded image.

the upper limit for the board is 200k and that's for huge animations. if you save as a jpg or a gif it will be much smaller
on a related note, you could post these all in one thread, since they're all nearly the same
