TJ: I'd like to make a font of my own handwriting. I can scan it in, but then what? I've got nooo idea how to make a font. Can anyone help?

here's what you could do
if you have a tablet, write in your handwriting.

If not, scan it in.

Open up Adobe Illustrator, Freehand or some vector based program and then trace each character using the pen tool. Hey presto - your very own font.

be warned - you need lots of patience, and a steady hand.
