well if you think how cheap an 80Gb hard drive is
it's not exactly a burden.
Longhorn on the other hand, needs 1 Gb, just to do the setup, and then another 2.5 Gb to install into.

Mmm, that's quite true!
And I suppose by the time Longhorn comes around 120Gb+ HDD's will be standard!
/edit - I had Win 98 on an 8Gb drive, that's why I think 1Gb is excessive!

I think I had it on a 10Gb drive
but once you get broadband you need alot of extra storage space for all the films that you 'buy on DVD and make a back up of'
