xp doesn't crash. In two years, this machine has only ever crashed on one occasion, due to a faulty power supply. The linux installation on here fell over then too. If XP crashes, you either have dodgy hardware or you've done something wrong.

you can force explorer.exe to close for a laugh and itll still keep going quite happily
