if someone
is jumping in the air, and you run into them, you're likely to get some part of their body in your face. In this case, it was an elbow.

the thing that bothers me more
is that this is just what the game is. That's fine. The referee makes judgements, the game continues. I think it's a real shame that it ended up that way, but it's a tough game. People seem to be forgetting that.
