I use an Epi SG sometimes too (it's not mine though)
Have you seen the Tony Iommi signiture Epi Sg? It's really great and cost's about £600.

I played an old one once,
but setup was bad so didnt get the full whack of its range.
My next upgrade (not inthe forseeable future) will be strat then PRS. Thats the plan.
If you've never played a PRS - do so. It might change your mind...
