That the monkey/chip/astrowhotsit is actually a cardboard cut-out that has been glued to the table using the secretions of several thousand snails and a first class postage stamp, then with the scene looking as good as it was with no expense to the budget the picture was taken as is. I would woo it but the chimp looks unhappy probably because somebody cropped his legs off, either that or he had just stopped smoking and is having withdrawl symptoms
