if you haven't lived in Scotland and watched a lot of Gaelic kids tv, it wouldn't really.

Dotaman was just a kids programme about a man and a woman who ran around the place singing songs and pissing people off by saying "Cheerie!" and other such Gaelic
nonsensities at them. The man had the most awesome hats though. Seriously, if there was such a thing, he'd be the hat king.

Yay for obscure Scottish children's tv programs in Gaelic!

(I used to change the channel whenever that was on..I don't speak Gaelic...I always thought it was spelt "Dottaman" though?)
