[challenge entry] Without electricity, calculators would be thus:

When you press a button, a tiny bell produces its own unique sound. Upon hearing a combination of sounds denoting an equation, the MiniGeniusTM performs the calculation and writes it on a piece of paper. This is the wound around to the display area, where the pre-perforated sheets can be torn off and shown to your co-workers. He requires some feeding (through the SIF), but on the plus side only produces small amounts of toxic gas.
