Little known fact.
Beadle was once in charge of the country for a whole 20 minutes in the early 90's. He was round the PM's office and Major let him sit in his chair.

does anyone else remember seeing something on telly where Beadle was in a diving bell or something, and people had to spend a week locked in there with him in the middle of the North Atlantic? I think it was a segment on another show.

Or maybe it was a terrible dream.
