I don't know if america has a chav populas
but they're kids who wear baseball caps all the time and hang around on street corners or in parks all day every day and drink very cheap alcohol, and if you walk past and they don't think you fit their ideals, they'll either shout at you, punch you or possibly kill you for your mobile phone
