TJ: i doubt people are too interested, but me and a few mates have been jamming/recording this weekend, and come up with these two:
www.goldenfanjita.com/mp3/FUNKY.mp3www.goldenfanjita.com/mp3/FUNKY-01.mp3they haven't been peoperly mixed and were recorded in the conservatory, but i think we're sounding alright for a bunch of white boys

Sounding good there.
Great sound for a conservatory
Reminds me of the last band i was in. Bringing the scratching in on the 1st track works really well.
Funky ass bass on the second one.
More of this. and get a singer :)

I thought the scratching was a bit of a cheesy cliche
and the lack of a singer was a refreshing relief.
The drums are very good though.

Message board posters in differance of opinion shock! ;)
Nothing wrong with instrumentals. I always prefered working with a singer though.
At the very least it means theres someone stood at the front of the stage that people can look at.
I was happy standing at the back playing my guitar :) The only reason i had a mic stand infront of me was it was a good place to put spare picks.
Gah i made a typo and spent a good few seconds trying to edit the live preview window... NNNGh!
