I just remembered I had this book from my youth, sorry the scan is so crap...

I think it was altered a bit for the tv series...

Oh, on the contrary:
Based on the book by Ann Pilling Henry is a young boy who likes collecting strange things and when Henry finds an innocent-looking leg from a fashion dummy, he is
thorwn into a real life thriller. The local thugs are very interested in the leg too, and seem prepared to stop at nothing to get it back... Henry was played by COURTNAY ROPER-KNIGHT who I think also played Barnacle in The December Rose.
Thanks to sausagenet.com for spelling mistake.
/Also, aren't all legs innocent-looking?
