ocean temperature changes, species become extinct due to inability to cope with new temperature, reduction in marine life levels causes massive shift in food chain, larger marine species run out of food and die out, human race loses a major food source etc etc, yes, we're fucked.

People forget that we rely on other things to survive.

But there is a counterintuitive theory...

A global rise in temperature by about a degree would cause the oceans to evaporate at a higher rate, meaning more clouds. Therefore in more mountainous regions and polar regions, more snow will fall all round the year. The increased snowfall will reflect more of the sun's rays from the earth, plunging us into an ice age.
