# You explain to me, rationally, the harm that's done by letting people know
that they should be more concious of the guidelines using a small, simple, funny animation?

'cause I fail to see how one funny picture has caused such a catastrophe.

The cunts who thought it was a fantastic opportunity to flame me are the problem. If you were prepared to check, I think you'll find that it's actually very rare I'm flamed for reminding about the FAQ. Most of the time it's SOP for someone to let someone know when they step outside the lines. There's nothing mean intended by it, or at least there shouldn't be. And if it's done with a funny picture/animation, then they're also enriching the creativity and humour of the website. That's what B3ta is about, right?

# You know Marky
I'm a bit of a size nazi myself, simply because from my perspective the majority of people who most frequently badly abuse the size limits often post stuff that I think is shit, which in turn may put off some of the people on dialup whose contribution I do like from using the board.
Giggedy has a point though. I think jumping on every minor oversize post has a negative effect. It makes it seem like a petty request, which of course dilutes its effectiveness when it's actually warranted. Choose your battles, that's what I'm suggesting.

# Thank you for the first rational and constructive counter argument I've read so far.
Most people were just in it for the "jump on the common enemy" bandwagon.
