The compo is crap but not because there can be no ideas, it's crap because it's another one that ruins the enjoyment of b3ta for another week with a tirade of images that have no bearing on the competition and could have been made by a thalidomide monkey with nothing more than shit and a wall to work with. I find myself longing for the weekend. At least it slows down and I can post stuff that people will actually see.

It's the people who are crap. I think this is a pretty good compo. The ide of trying to use your brain to figure out a way of making pictures without using picture type software is a good one.

Unfortunately most people are too stupid to think and we get loads of crap entries. It's the same with any compo. Look at last week's - one of the best compos for ages but got swamped with idiots whose skill amounts to adding a cock to something.
