I find him fairly mediocre in that role.

I've been to Scotland - anyone else ever heard anyone from there with the same accident as him? I haven't.

I like that film.
His accent is completely inappropriate. So what? They're all speaking English. Would the film be better with a cast of Russians, and all the dialogue subtitled?

Perhaps it would, perhaps it wouldn't. I like that film as it is.
