can anyone tell me... we didn't used to vote on the competition challenges did we? In Ye Olden days like...
I think the Challenge setter should just pick something... fuck democracy!
I don't really care, because if a challenge doesn't inspire me i'll just not enter, it's not a big deal - but there is always a whinging backlash every week. People could still submit ideas by e-mail during the week.
(EDIT) can anyone answer the first part of the question though... has it always been voted on... i haven't been here from the beginning and my memory is poor.

I wasn't keen on the greenpeace challenge, so I paid it no attention. And I had a great time 'shopping kittens and polar bears instead!
edit - My point being, the challenge is just one of the things that goes on here. I reckon I prefer the non challenge stuff I've done to the challenge stuff.

They say they want to bring me in guilty.

give you a lovely outlook on how it should be. turn the game on its head and do something different- this competition is basically a license to pun, and there are some good puns out there!

like i said - it doesn't bother me - but it might stop the griping if it weren't a voting thing... :)

I tend not to post if I don't like the compo.
I have slyly given my feedback on this weeks compo with my pic below. It is irony.

stuff for the challenge. I'd just rather do my own thing.
Not that you'd notice, since I hardly post any pics these days.

are always like this. People tend to post as many competition entries as they can think of as quickly as they can, and as a consequence, most of it is a bit pants!
I like the competitions, although i dont enter them very often. They give the place a bit of structure:)
edit/ im sure there will be some classy entries by the end of the week.
