I'm just saying that this doesn't have to be interpreted in a single way.
It could mean beyond as in a literal continuation of the artwork, as in the example, or it could mean beyond in a sense of a MK II cover, or beyond in the sense of coming from another reality. Sometimes it helps to try and look at an assignment askew. Any interpretation is valid, I think.
