but I do have 4 different versions of the DVD (and a Laserdisc) of "Aminnal Hearse" (and I still have almost every issue of The National Lampoon, except the crappy recent versions...)

but have you ever seen the pre-Lampoon George Trow / Michael O'Donoghue film "Savages" (not the current one) or heard the NatLamp Radio Hour? Great stuff!

i'm a big fan of many of the cartoonists who achieved fame in the mag - i have a ton of gahan wilson, sam gross and roz chast books.

but I grew up on the original 1950's Mad Magazine so my library is a bit larger (actually running out of room!) I see that one can get the entire New Yorker cartoon history on on one DVD.
I also like Hoffnung and a lot of other UK artists - there is just so much good humor that is thankfully not totally lost to history.
