Burning rubbish is good.
It's how we get our electricity in Bern and we don't have to use coal, oil or gas. Also means 2/3 less stuff going in landfills.
the majority of it would have decomposed in a couple of years anyway to give off CO2, so little extra CO2 given off by burning it.
