I had it set up do that each level moved
but repeating it plus fucking Imageready!

result:massive headache

i have never used fireworks

(how i would have done it: create the line for the cable, make a new layer with a little square of blue in it, the same colour as the sky. place it over the cable, and draw the ripple
then use imageready's tween fucntion to move it along the cable

rinse, repeat)

I did just that
but moved the layers with the ripple. it was creating a new layer of each action of the arms.
Imageready kept losing layers from photoshop.
Would grouping them help?
