I drank real poteen one time.
It was very strong.

Edit: I see on wiki that it's legal now, and mass produced. The stuff I drank was illegally produced in someone's back yard, literally moonshine.

I bought some cheap imitation shite potcheen once . . .
it was just industrial alcohol and the chemical they put in pear drops . . .

I was slightly nervous, you hear stories about people getting poisoned and going blind from impurities in moonshine. It's like any other illegally produced drug I guess.
