# well it made me chuckle..
the way I read it was a joke on itself, no-one uses the word coon anymore which made it funny.. that and Ainsley doing jazz hands like Al Jolson was the perfect addition. Yeah its toap, but some things don't need anything else..

For such a site that employs "shock tactics" with alot worse 'black humour' (excuse the pun) I am amazed anyone can find this offensive.. and I would suggest they don't log onto b3ta anymore if thats the case, as they are taking life way too seriously.

# several of the possible anagrams of your board sig involve using the word "nigger"
you're obviously Stalin.

# It is offensive
because of the juxtaposition of a racist term with a black person, with no satirical edge to it. Yes, the board employs shock tactics, but they are done by decontextualising the words/ideas or placing them in a more complicated scenario.

Thank fuck I have an ignore button.

# exactly. Here, if something seems rascist, you're generally laughing at the racism itself in a different context
not the "funny black man pulling a silly face".

# B3ta isn't just about mindless, shock tactics
it's about humour.

And this pretty much stopped being considered humour to most people* in 1980

# Secondeded.
Blurry standards of discrimination create a miasma of unsurety.
I'm only here for the complete lack of standards. Surely teh Sick Joke book has some eqully lovely offensiveness innit?

# True
but the Sick Joke Book isn't B3tan, it's Sickipedian. Sickipedia, unfortunately, seems to attract a lot of racist fucks whose intelligence and level of literacy seems to be commensurate to their prejudices. I have hours of fun fixing their spelling, grammar and punctuation, which I hope annoys them greatly.

# looks like the picture's dubious, though..
'Apologies to any wogs that find this offensive'??????

hope this is irony.

A lot of people, like myself, react very strongly, indeed probs more strongerly(?) than any black person would, to distance themselves from these kinds of language and feelings. If people let comments like this go, then that means there is no opposition to them. This encourages social divides like that supposedly seen between muslims and non muslims, where moderate types that believe in islam are often criticised for not condemming radical chappies who go on about annihilating western infidels and the like.

Still, keeps talk radio stations busy. Those fuckers would struggle for callers during their phone ins otherwise.
