the one that goes,
No no no no, stick to the stuff you know
If you wanna be cool
Follow one simple rule
Dont mess with the flow, no no
Stick to the status quo
(, Mon 8 Dec 2008, 23:42, archived)

at the end on the lorry where he does that flip and kicks the guy through the windscreem its amazing
(, Mon 8 Dec 2008, 23:54, archived)

# That's ok...
...I blanked out the whole of Matrix Revolutions because I had a migraine when I saw it. It was much more interesting in my head, and when I could only see it at 4 FPS, and in spangly B+W.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 0:03, archived)
# What is this "Matrix Revolutions" you speak of?
For a second there, it almost sounded as if you were implying that anyone attempted to make a sequel to The Matrix.

Let's face it, we all know how idiotic that would be. Any sequels to The Matrix would be awful! Thank goodness they never made any. No, they never did. Never. No.

Never.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 0:07, archived)
# The only good spin-off
from the Matrix was The Animatrix... The other two are "tales told by idiots, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing" - W. Shakespeare, film critic...
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 0:12, archived)
# He also thinks that the greatest film OF ALL TIME

# I liked Kermode when he was Radio 1's film critic.
i.e. before he disappeared up his own arse.
(, Mon 8 Dec 2008, 23:56, archived)
# Yeah...
he does tend to come across as a posher, more pretentious version of Mark Lamarr...
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 0:02, archived)
# I always rated him highly as a film critic, though.
I'm sure there is irony somewhere in that statement, but I'm not sure exactly where.
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 0:04, archived)
# I know what you mean...
as irritating as I find him, he does kind of like the same films I do...
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 0:05, archived)
# now you mention it, i remember listening to him on radio 1 years ago
at the time, he seeemd to go on a bit.
Mayo has a point these days, kermode spends almost the whole show on 5 five reviewing various films then rushes in an arty one as his film of the week at the end
(, Tue 9 Dec 2008, 0:16, archived)
