*dances like a fiend*
Music's no chuffing good any more. Well, except that kings of leon song I like, and Fathoms. Fathoms are AWESOME. Their bassist is a fox, too. Yep.

I will make everything ok again, once I get all da beats an that laid down, yeh?
Yeh, I heard about Fathoms. The bassist isn't bad.

Girl think
About it before you leave
Cause bobby's got a brand new swing
And so if you want to do your own thing
I hear what you're sayin'
Two can play that game you're playin'
for a crack-head he actually excelled himself there with that old tune.

yes indeed :)
I finally watched In Bruges at the weekend, on your recommendation (some time ago now).
It was fucking superb. One of the most enjoyable films I've seen in a while. Brilliant script.

Excellent.
I might not know what's good. But I know...actually, I know what's good. I watched Rock'n'Rolla last night. It's no classic but I feel the critics might have been a little harsh on Mrs Madonna.
There were a couple of shockingly wooden performances from bit players and I don't think they got the job after 7 years at Rada but might actually have been Guy's mates from the pub.
Convoluted story as always and a nice bit of silliness for a while. How to lose friends and alienate people is also a good watch. If you want to have history re-written in your head then Defiance is a superb film. Just ignore the 'based on a true story' bit because it is factually in error from start to finish. Enjoyable nonetheless.

ok, cheers, I shall look out for these
I hope Defiance isn't about something I know a bit about, I usually just get enraged by historical inaccuracies. I'll have a look though.

Defiance is the new film
starring Daniel Craig about WWII and the plight of a group of Russian jews and in particular 3 brothers who led them into the mountains and in particular the 3 Bielski brothers who organised them into a ragtag bunch of partisans.
This explains it.
