# Surely you're not saying that Mr Clark
Is a prevert?

(He is though, isn't he)

# I'm afraid so.
It would seem that if you are a world famous scientist, who never lets people forget he invented the satellite, AND writes turgid sci-fi, you can get away with a lot. That one is ALWAYS on the interweb...

# didn't invent the satellite
he invented geostationaly orbit where an object will be ina stable orbit over the same point on the globe.

(sometimes it's expanded to say that he created the comunications satellite as this relies on geostationaly orbits, but thats not exactly true either).

So he only came up with the orbit.

# Bless you for that.
You should see what satellite channels Arthur is watching right now!!

# No
he came up with the whole concept of an object being placed in orbit to reflect signals off... Hence the communications satellite. so :-Þ

# ahh

Question: what is the earths largest satellite?
