conjoined celebs

Conjoined Celebrities. What's better than one celebrity? Two joined mercilessly together, that's what. Grab two people whose names go together and shop them so they look stupid, like Roger Moorgan Freeman here. Stick the results on the board.

The diary of Samuel L Pepys, September 5th 1666

Does anyone know of a good way to get photos looking like they're an oilpainting in photoshop 7?
This was my rather lame attempt (I know i shoulda altered the levels on the face and blended it in better, but it didn't seem worth it on something that was always going to be a little unsatisfactory), and I tried the filters, but I can't seem to get it quite right. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

edit: why do i always post immediately after something really good, making my lame effort seem even shoddier than it already is? eh? why? bum!
