They used to be animals
But when they evolved to stay still they were re-named "vegetables"
The one in the middle is supposed to be cheese, but looks like a relative of SpongeBob SquarePants [pearost]

The Greater Yellow-breasted Bog, with its distinctive 'tweeoof' call, often heard during twilight; sadly now extinct due to its inability to overcome its instinctal behaviour regarding cats.
