Statistical population analysis or atomic results?
The problem with that film is that there is no understanding of what the second law of thermodynamics actually means in terms of time travel (even information traveling through time as in the film).
You can only stretch you ability to suspend disbelief a certain amount. This film is on that difficult border between believable plot and the need to exist in a realm beyond credulity.
Rubbish. Entertaining rubbish but rubbish none the less.
