And thought maybe somebody had done something slightly unnerving to the kid. A few saying it might be the nozzle from a hairdryer. Does look very Nerf gun like though doesn't it.

yeah saw that pic of hair dryer on reddit
but there's a good 5mm gap from the metal bit and end of dryer, so I wouldn't have thought it was that.
must be satan :/
