This is a normal post I take it you've never had a car with an auto gearbox.

This is a normal post I can settle this.
If you're a Yank who can't drive a normal car, never leave your car in gear. If, like the rest of the world, you are not baffled by simple controls, leave your car in gear.

This is a normal post I used to think like this.
Until I did get a car with an automatic. For your dreary, basic, day to day driving, it's fucking fantastic, though I also have a tiny Spitfire on the side for a bit of manual fun :)

This is a normal post To be honest,
I live in Florida and drive an automatic, but I just can't resist the chance to take the piss out of the natives of my new home country.

This is a normal post It's on a level floor.
The car shouldn't roll off on its own. I'm not familiar with the slushboxes on old Mustangs, but if it has an electric gear selector, anything could happen.

This is a normal post ^This^
If I lived in a part of the world where I could stay in one gear for more than two or three minutes, I'd love a manual. Also, automatics have a fun 'go-karty' appeal as well. Well, they do if you drive a knackered 20yr old thing like mine.
