This is a normal post Hmmmm.
Maths is a universal language, free from the constraint of starting to read from the top left corner of a page, something that is not even common to all languages. A graph is not a language but an attempt to envision information in a manner that bypasses the need for linguistic interpretation. It is a pictorial representation of data that is not in any way literal, but the closest thing possible to an objective representation of data. If the graph is inaccurate, this is not the fault of said pictorial representation, but the fault of inaccurate data employed to draw the graph. Graphs cannot lie, data can. In order for this to be true, we must expect that the laws of maths are undisputed, which is hardly a controversial assertion, and not open to interpretation. The same cannot be said of language.

This is a normal post yeah?
Universal XY plane.
Used by anybody with a vector to fondle.
Normally you put your O (for Origin not zerO) smack in the middle.
Or wherever it's the easiest to work with.

Excel is a program, not a convention, that starts where it wants.
However, advertising always starts with the "reading" from the top left.
So you are a advertiser at heart.
So you will burn in hell.

This is a normal post 'ning smelly.
The reason I mentioned Excel is because we're not dealing with graphs, charts, vectors or maps here. The link way, way back at the top of this thread shows tabulated data, i.e. rows and columns.

Anyway, I think this discussion has gone on far too long already so that's where I'm going to leave it.
