This is a normal post Good to hear as that's pretty much been our consensus so far.
I've read a Dad-centric one called "The Expectant Dad's Handbook" which seemed promising but turned out to be written by a poor downtrodden sod with what sounded like a Hellbeast of a partner, preparing you to share in his life of abject misery.

This is a normal post Good luck with it all. It's hard work but worth it.
BTW, be prepared to have your hand squeezed to an absolute pulp (don't you dare say it hurts), and to apologise profusely and repeatedly to the staff for your spouse's behaviour and foul language which may be insults directed at them. Your wife will remember none of it.

ETA?

This is a normal post Was in Tesco a couple of weeks before our 1st one dropped (now 21!). Picked a 9lb frozen turkey out and showed the wife "Isn't this about the expected birth weight?"
Apparently not helpful.
