I get the joke you're making
but most modern cars have automatic hazard light activation in the case of an emergency or sharp braking, so he likely didn't turn them on himself. Probably too busy running away from the car before the fire got worse

Haha
That was satisfying. I watched all of it to appreciate the money shot even more so.

Unlike a Lamborghini to catch fire
They don't usually do that

Looks like this guy was sad or saying a prayer for this one.
Wonder if it was his and he would drive around in a fireproof outfit.

Why is he a tosser?
Just because he has a nice car? Subject to taste obviously. I just don't see why he's a tosser though.

Does your computer not have sound? Anyone who revs the engine like that is a tosser in my opinion.

Because when you buy a sports car with a massive V12 engine, you have to drive it like a Prius
otherwise you're a tosser, according to all the petty jealous wankers in this thread.

Getting all sweaty palmed about a massive V12 engine makes him a tosser
Exchanging hundreds of thousands of pounds for a car makes him a tosser
Getting a yellow one makes him a tosser

How I read this:
Liking things you don't approve of makes him a tosser
Having more disposable income than you makes him a tosser
Getting it in the colour it looks best in makes him a tosser

I read it as intolerant left wing twat
as I always have done with that guy. We're here today, gone tomorrow, why rubbish some guy's fun just because it's not your thing.

No... but if you do own one of those things...
maybe you ought to know how hot those things get, and
maybe you ought to know that revving it makes it hotter, and
maybe you ought to know that the best way to cool the engine is by moving fast enough to get cold air flowing around it, so
maybe you ought not to rev it like a bell-end when stationary.

or
maybe there was something wrong with it?
Seriously, even if a car gets hot when over rev'ed and stationary, it shouldn't catch fire. That is a basic design flaw or a malfunction.
The only time I've rev'ed a car like that was when I so badly tuned it, I had to rev at all times to avoid stalling. IF I let it idle, it stopped. I hope not everyone that saw me thought I was a tosser.

I agree it shouldn't really catch fire.
But then, I've seen horrendous motorway tailbacks, exacerbated (if not caused) by people in normal cars getting all frustrated and revving their engines in a stationary queue, resulting in their car catching fire and the tailback taking even longer.
The worst one I saw had no less than 7 instances of this in about 5 miles of stationary traffic.

So-called Supercars are precious things, and don't deal well with ordinary driving situations.
I understand that some of them, Ferraris I think, have to have the oil in the engine warmed up by an electric heater before the engine can be started, otherwise it wrecks the engine. Makes it totally impractical for jumping in and popping to the shops for a pint of milk.

He's a tosser because he's bought a fantastic piece of engineering.
And clearly doesn't appreciate it as he over-revved it showing off to his tosser mates and everyone around, and set it on fire. Which is frankly quite karmic.
