it isn't the daily mail
it's a bylined opinion piece.
if you have yet to learn the difference between two newspapers (albeit part of the same group) and the difference between the view of the paper and the view of a columnist then the old clue phone is ringing.

How many brexit voters vote to leave because they thought we'd be better off?
despite the £350 million lie I'd guess the square root of fuck all. it's all about unaccountable bungling Brussels bureaucrats.

I think you are definitely wrong on this one.
I feel vast numbers of people voted leave because they thought we would be better off.

If that holds up it makes it even worse!
If they weren't expecting some sort of economic improvements it means they voted leave for some magical sovereignty beans.

Don't know about you but when I'm voting it's in line with my own personal political beliefs.
I don't ask myself what would ACME Mega National Corp like me to vote for.
I'm sure they can find a way to exploit whatever environment they find themselves in.

Well with the pound where it is we clearly aren't in the short term. But this is a long game.
The Remainers are the same people who said it would be catastrophic not to join the Euro currency when it launched. The pound fell significantly then too. They have been proven wrong then, and they're wrong now.

Come now
you don't seriously believe leaving one of the world's largest trading blocs is actually ever going to be economically beneficial?
In the long term - as some idiot economist put it - we're all dead. In the shirt term we're fucked. in the medium term, we're fucked.

I always thought keeping the pound but having EU membership was the best of both worlds. You're inventing a 'they' that doesn't exist.

I'm not inventing anything. Are you a child or just thick? Do you not remember the late nineties? Probably still in nappies.

Wah...Wah...
Funny, almost as amusing as seeing Professional moaner Peter Hitchens who craps his nappy having to correct almost every interviewer who introduces him as being from the Mail. I think they are actually just trolling him but you know if you do get paid by a news group that includes the daily mail and publish your independent think/wank pieces on a web link called daily mail...
