1) Popular protest and petition to exclude whatever you want to exclude from trade.
2) M.Ps via parliament make sure that it is excluded.
3) if (1) fails to bring about (2) then read the fucking label when you buy chicken.
Democracy init?

The problem with 2) is that MPs are all bent and will put aside the country's interest for personal gain.
and 3 is fine if you're buying in a supermarket, but I doubt anyone has the time to read the small print in KFC.
