This is a normal post I thought you could make it from Salvlia if you mixed it with something else to affect your metabolism?
Knowledge on this is bloody hazy from the 90's and can't be bothered to go that route again.

Contains DMT, but if you just eat it none of the DMT gets to the brain due to being metabolised by monoamine oxidase (MAO).

By consuming a MAO-inhibitor first you can temporarily disable the effect of the MAO allowing enough of the DMT to get to where you want it. This is cocking dangerous, since MAO is a pretty important line of defence against various toxins that you might find in various everyday foods, and since it also involved in the metabolism of various other controlled substances. Combining MAOIs with MDMA or SSRIs is not a very good idea, and can lead to serotonin shock.

Now, Salvia, that's that weird 10-15 minute "why did all the spacial dimensions just rotate themselves into entirely unrelated concepts" trip that no-one really understands.
