PET is recyclable anyway
One of the easiest, cook it up in caustic alcohol. Always amazes me that much of the tramp juice can be sold in PET bottles, I suppose the pH is dangerously low, rather than dangerously high.

A very energy intensive process though.
Enzymes would really bring the cost down.
