One of the biggest benefits of leaving Facebook.
Is that I'm no longer familiar with this lot. Perhaps it's best that we avoid giving these sorts of people the publicity they so obviously covet.

Exactly.
The most suitable emotion for people like this is pity.
To find true happiness, you need to make as much sense of the world as you can. Wealth alone isn't a bad thing, but when you're trapped in a bubble where it defines you, you're heading for all sorts of trouble, very quickly.
