But it's computery, is it not? I'd like to see a video of the puppet masters performing if it was actually done properlike.

what gives you that impression??? seems odd they didn't add strings. In terms of what's impressive in CGI i find computer imitations of other animation often more impressive that "real life" CGI. That lost a little bit of it's charm but the animators getting carried away though.
Pretty sure that the Becks add (with Flaming Lips soundtrack) was totally genuine there.

It's CG. Visible strings, but CG ones...
Maybe its a mix of puppetry and CG.

Hehe...top ad, well done to the guys who worked on it!
Yeah, there is a lot of CG but that shouldn't take anything away from it. Linky for making of... www.the-mill.com/index.php?A=745
And yeah, the Becks ad was genuine, it was real stop motion, puppet and 2D animation all comp'd together.

I haven't seen that one before. I'm not sure about Gerry Anderson whoring his old stuff like this, but I do find the Specsavers one funny too. (If only cos The Hood flies his rocket pack into a mountain. The twat.)

Gerry ANderson makes hardly anything out of his shows now, after selling them to Lew Grade for about £20,000 in the 1970s
